On the 3-rd of February in the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Saint Mary in Babrujsk where Dunin-Marcinkievich was baptised, Archbishop Minsk-Mohilov Metropolitan Tadeusz Kondrusievicz celebrated the Holy Mass. He consecrated the memorial tablet in the honour of the 200-th anniversary of the birth and christening of the writer.
On the 4-th of February in the Church of Saint Trinity (Saint Roche) in Minsk the Holy Mass of the memory of Vincent Dunin-Marcinkievich was held. It was celebrated by the chancellor of the Minsk-Mohilov Archdiocese curia priest Yury Kasabudski. While living in Minsk the writer belonged to the parish of Saint Roche and his children were baptised in this church.
The descendants of Vincent Dunin-Marcinkievich took part in the celebrations.
