On May 20-21, 2009 Homel was visited by guests from Hard, Austria. Mrs. Doris Algoer and Mrs. Marien Motter together with their families and friends transmit funds for construction of the hospice for orphan children with mental and physical disabilities. The organizer of the event was the European Federation of Centres of Research and Information on Sectarianism (FECRIS). The former president of the organization Friedrich Griess took part in the conference.
